Air, air, everywhere

Once again Elephant Grass Printmakers presents a brand new portfolio of 8 hand pulled prints for sale.  Keeping with our theme of the four Elements, Air took prominence for 2017’s. Seven Members along with Bob Hainstock, a long standing NS printmaker and painter and our guest artist, used a broad selection of printmaking techniques to create this delightful visual interpretation.

The sets sell for $125 for all 8 prints and will be for sale on our table at Annapolis Royal Farmers Christmas Market, Sat. Dec. 2, or purchase your set directly on our website. Christmas Special, buy both the Air and Water box set for $225 and double the joy. As long as supplies last! To take advantage of the Christmas Special, contact us by email so we can provide you with the discount.

Turning left, then right

Ever have a day where you start out doing one thing, then everything  changes mid-stream and you end up doing something else?  Well, our plans to clean up and prepare for the upcoming annual open house and monotype workshop became a free-for-all print day instead.  Linocut proofs and a series of monotypes flew off the press all afternoon while members tried out the etching press with various blanket set ups and ink combinations.
